Donegal County Council has completed design-and-build contracts for two social housing developments which will bring 24 new homes to Milford and Doirí Beaga.
The local authority says the two developments will provide high-quality, sustainable homes for 24 families.
At An Chúirt Ghlas, Rossgarrow, Milford, Axis Construction Limited, Dungloe will deliver 12 social housing apartments using Insulated Concrete Formwork (ICF). Construction is due to begin in October, providing homes for 12 families in the Milford area.
In Doirí Beaga, Lowry Construction Ltd will deliver 12 social housing homes and apartments at O Machaire Gathlan / Ard Na gCeapairi. Construction is due to begin in November, providing homes for 12 families in the Glenties Municipal District.
