Gaoth Dobhair claimed the two precious league points in their hard-fought northwest derby clash with St Michael’s, in Magheragallon, on Saturday night.
Adam Mac Íomhair capped a good performance in the middle of the field for the locals and ended the tie with a personal tally of six points.
Ethan Harkin and Eamonn Collum were also to the fore for Ronan MacNiallais’s side and kicked four points.
Former All-Star fullback and current county mentor Neil McGee marked his first outing of the season with a point after being introduced off the bench.
Stephen 'Donna' McFadden, Odhran MacNiallais and Niall Friel all chipped in with points for the winners.
Former county man Daniel McLaughlin continued his rich vein of form in front of the posts for St Michaels.
McLaughlin kicked six of St Michaels' tally, including a brace of two pointers as he finished as his team's top scorer.
Carlos O’Reilly, Jamie Hunter, Packie McGinley, Michael Cannon and Michael McGinley also scored for St Michael's.
