Cousins Oisin Reid and Ricky Gallagher of Four Masters and Termon and Four Masters will meet again to decide Democrat Cup. They drew their league encounter
The final round of league games took place in Donegal at the weekend and the picture is now clearer as to who will be promoted and relegated and who will contest the league finals next weekend.
In Division 1, Inishowen pair Buncrana and Malin both recorded wins but it was not enough to save them from relegation. The important game was played in Towney where Mark McHugh hit 0-11 against Na Dúnaibh to ease Kilcar away from the relegation zone.
The defeat means that Na Dúnaibh finished third from bottom and will have to play-off with Naomh Muire, Lower Rosses (who finished third in Division 2) to decide who will play in Division 1 and 2 next season.
At the top of Division 1 Four Masters lost out to Gaoth Dobhair in Magheragallon but still make the Democrat Cup final. They finished level on points with Naomh Conaill (who overcame St Eunan’s in their final game on Saturday) but by virtue of the head to head victory in Tirconaill Park, the Donegal Town side will take on Termon in the final next weekend.

At the top of Division 2, Dungloe had already won promotion the previous week and they will be joined in Division 1 by Aodh Ruadh, who overcame St Mary’s, Convoy. The Ballyshannon finished level on points with Naomh Muire, Lower Rosses, but by virtue of score difference, take the second spot. They will meet Dungloe in the Division 2 decider next weekend.
At the bottom of Division 2 St Mary’s, Convoy and St Naul’s were already relegated.
Gaeil Fhánada lost out to Cloich Cheann Fhaola on Friday evening and must now play-off with Naomh Brid (who finished third in Division 3) to decide which will play in the higher league in 2026.
