Shaun Patton:
Patton was a real threat for Donegal from kick-outs with the new rules. It didn’t work out in the final for the St Eunan’s man, but he was a key player in Donegal’s run to the decider, putting in a super performance against Meath in the semi-final and a great Ulster final under the high ball.
Patton conceded just three goals between the Ulster and All-Ireland knockout stages.
Verdict: May get a nomination but miss out on making the 15.
