Team captains ahead of Friday night's contest in Killygordon

Friday evening marked a proud and historic moment for Camogie at Sean MacCumhaills, as the club’s minor team took to the field for the first time in decades.

The milestone outing highlights the exciting progress being made within the club’s Camogie code.

The girls travelled to face a strong and well-established Markievicz side, who were gracious hosts for the match.

While Sean MacCumhaills were a little slow to find their rhythm in the first half, the team showed tremendous heart and determination after the break.

Captains Nia Byrne and Derbhlá Bogle led the team with pride and composure, setting the tone for a memorable night.
