Naomh Muire, Íochtar na Rosann picked up their first win on their return to top-flight league football with a comfortable win over St Michael’s at the Banks on Saturday evening.
Joey Gillespie scored eight points, and Daniel Devlin hit 1-1 in the nine-point victory for the Danny O’Donnell-managed locals, two games into the new league season following their promotion at the end of last season.

In all, Naomh Muire had nine different scorers with Corraithaigh Doherty, Tuathal Lunny, Jack O’Donnell, Harry Harden, Eoin Martin, Ferdia Doherty, Cathal Fee also raising flags for the men from the Lower Rosses.
Daniel McLaughlin top-scored for St Michael’s as Ethan Ferry, Carlos and Eddie O’Reilly, and John McFadden also chipped in with minor scores for the men from the Bridge, who lost Martin McElhinney and Carlos O’Reilly to injury in the course of the game.
