Three Donegal footballers on Friday night were presented with Ulster PPS All-Star awards.
Dungloe’s Ulitah Boyle from Rosses Community School, Ava Walsh of Crana College and Naomh Padraig Uisce Chaoin, and Loreto Milford’s Jodie McFadden, who plays for Termon, were rewarded for their excellent seasons and were part of the 30-strong panel from Antrim, Armagh, Derry, Donegal, Cavan, Monaghan and Tyrone. All the players were presented with their awards at a banquet in Kelly's Inn on Friday.
Ulitah Boyle and Ava Walsh were there in person to collect their awards, while Jodie McFadden is in Kerry with the Donegal senior ladies team who play the Kingdom in the Lidl National Football League Division 1 today.
Following five trials where 171 participants took part late last year, the Ulster selection panel selected the top 30 following an in-house match at Ulster University.
