Kevin Lynch and Jonny Toye scored the goals and also kicked five points between them in an eight-point win over the men from the south of the county.
In a tie where they had the upper hand for most of the 60 plus minutes, Naomh Padraig had nine different scorers, something that will please manager Daniel McCauley.
They led by four points at half-time, 1-7 to 0-6, before pushing on in the second period to run out convincing winners.
Cian Kennedy carried the main scoring threat for Naomh Ultan who were short of a number of regular starters.
The midfielder scored 0-7 of his side’s total with a mix of frees and from play while Joe Alvey, Johnny Bach and Darragh Murrin also got their names on the scoresheet.
The win, their sixth of the season, means Naomh Padraig have leapfrogged Moville, in third place in the Division Three table and into one of the promotion playoff positions.
They are four points behind leaders St Naul's and three adrift of Na Rossa with a game more played.
They are one point ahead of Moville, both with nine games played. Naomh Ultan are sitting midtable on eight points with four wins from nine games played.
