Ulster held a narrow lead at halftime, and the impressive performance of players like the Canavan brothers, Darragh and Rúairí, along with Niall Loughlin, was evident as they emerged as deserving winners.

The opening half saw lively action with UU gaining early points from Loughlin, Peter Óg McCartan, and the talented Darragh Canavan. TUD, despite having plenty of possession, managed some commendable scores from Cormac McGeogh, Jack Flynn, and Killian McGuinness.

Loughlin and Ciarán Daly added points for Ulster before Seán Guiden responded with a free. A well-executed score by Josh Largo-Ellis just before halftime left Ulster with a one-point lead.

With less than 10 minutes remaining, Ulster led by eight points, with Darragh Canavan and Loughlin substituted. TUD narrowed the gap with points from Seán Guiden and Danny McCartin, and a late goal by Cian Hanley added a positive touch to the final score.
