All the Donegal sides who have won the MacLarnon down the years

Abbey Vocational School flies the flag for Donegal as they face Our Lady & St Patrick's, Knock from Belfast in the MacLarnon Cup final, they hope to follow in the footsteps of St Eunan's. De La Salle and PCC Falcarragh

The MacLarnon Cup began in 1960 with St Patrick's, Dungannon the first winners. St Eunan's became the first Donegal winners in 1968 and since then De La Salle, Ballyshannon and PCC, Falcarragh have captured the title. Please click on the arrows to go through the teams

Donegal colleges have taken home the cup on 11 occastions - 1968, 1979, 1980, 1983, 1985, 1986, 1996, 1999, 2000, 2007, 2014. Only one Donegal school (PCC, Falcarragh) have retained the cup.

On Sunday next, Abbey VS, Donegal Town can add their name to the cup and make it a fourth Donegal college to secure the title.

Both St Eunan's and De La Salle went on to become All-Ireland champions in 1979 and 1980 respectively.
