A cohort of forty members from the Na Rossa club are currently basking in the sunny climes of Alicante, Spain.

The senior football team of Na Rossa enjoyed a triumphant 2023 season, clinching promotion to Division 2 along with clinching the Junior ‘A’ Championship title.

In recognition of their achievements, the team has been granted a well-deserved holiday, with anticipated lively gatherings at McCafferty’s Bar in La Zenia.

Announcing the safe arrival of the team in Spain, the Na Rossa club shared on their Facebook page:

"The team has safely touched down in Spain. Undoubtedly, they're in for an enjoyable time with ample training sessions scheduled. We hope everyone relishes this break; it's truly earned.

A heartfelt gratitude extends from the club to Declan and Michelle Boyle, who have been instrumental in facilitating this journey. Their unwavering support embodies the spirit of our club and community. This excursion wouldn’t have been feasible without their generous efforts, ensuring the team creates everlasting memories!"
