Gaoth Dobhair got the win they needed to finish in the top two position in the Brian McCormick Division 1 division and they will now meet holders Naomh Conaill in the decider next weekend.

While a very much understrength Kilcar got the scoreboard moving with a Mark McHugh point, from very early in the contest Gaoth Dobhair got on top.

By half-time they were well in control leading by 0-9 to 0-3.

The second half followed a similar pattern with a goal from  Fionnan Coyle put the winners 1-11 to 0-4 ahead and the game was then over as a contest.
