Aoife Kelly from Dromore National School in Killygordon had the distinction of playing at Croke Park on Sunday.

Aoife played the GAA INTO Cumann na mBunscol Respect Exhibition Go Games at the GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship final, which saw Clare lift the Liam McCarthy Cup following an epic 3-29 to 1-34 extra-time win over Cork in front of 82,300 supporters. Aoife, who lined out in then colours of Clare on the day, left well-prepared before making the trip to the capital.

"Best wishes to Aoife Kelly playing at half time in the All Ireland Hurling final," Setanta Hurling Club posted. "We were delighted to present her with a few bits for the day on behalf of everyone in Setanta and Markievicz. Good luck Aoife and enjoy the experience."
