Rosses Community School that overcame Carrick on Tuesday in Convoy
Rosses Community School (RCS) have been crowned Donegal Senior Boys County Champions after a hard-fought victory over Carrick in the final held in Convoy on Tuesday afternoon.
RCS narrowly edged past PCC in their opening game, winning by just a single point in a tightly contested match that went back and forth throughout.
In their second game, they put in a dominant performance, defeating Moville by seven points and the school from the Rosses showed their true resilience in the third match as they came from behind to beat Killybegs, securing a place in the final.
Facing a formidable Carrick side in the championship decider, RCS found themselves trailing as half-time approached. However, a determined second-half display saw them overturn the deficit to claim the county title in what is a brilliant start to the school football season for Rosses Community School.
