London's Gaelic football team showcased a strong Donegal influence in their recent 1-20 to 0-21 victory over Wicklow in west London last weekend in the Division 4 National Football League.

The match began with Wicklow asserting early dominance, quickly establishing a five-point lead. However, London responded decisively when Sean Tucker found the net in the seventh minute, narrowing the gap.

London's resurgence was further bolstered by points from Daniel Clarke, Kristian Healy, and Ciaran Diver, bringing them within a point by the 23rd minute. Despite Wicklow's efforts to extend their lead, London remained resilient, with Joshua Obahor and Healy ensuring a competitive 0-10 to 1-06 scoreline at halftime.

In the second half, London continued to press forward. Patrick Dolan's accuracy from frees, combined with Sean Tucker's equalising point, set the stage for a thrilling conclusion. Substitutes Tighe Barry and Shay Rafter made impactful contributions, with Rafter's late points securing the win for London.

This victory marks London's first league win of 2025, a commendable response following their earlier defeat to Wexford.
