Patrick McBreaty will captain Donegal for the first time this year against Armagh today
Niall O'Donnell and Eoghan McGettigan are named on the Donegal panel as they look to go three-from-three against Armagh at MacCumhaill Park, throw-in 3:45pm.
Michael Langan captained Donegal in their opening two Allianz League Division 1 outings to date and this afternoon it's Patrick McBrearty who will lead out the team against the All-Ireland champions, who named their panel last night.
O'Donnell, from St Eunan's, has yet to feature this season, while McGettigan's last appearance for Donegal in the competition was back in 2021, when he came off the bench to score 1-1 in a 1-18 to 1-14 loss to Dublin in Cavan in the semi-finals.
Langan picked up an early hamstring injury in last Saturday's 0-23 to 1-18 win over Kerry, with McBrearty having come off the bench to good effect kicking three points, as he had in the 0-20 to 0-16 opening night win over Dublin. Armagh went down to Galway in their first outing, 1-12 to 0-9, but put in a highly-impressive victory last time out against Tyrone, 1-23 to 0-18.
A win for Donegal will send them top of Division 1, which is currently led by Galway on five points.
