Aodh Ruadh, Ballyshannon made the long trip to The Bridge on Sunday  and went home with the league points.

St. Michael's 0-6

The match began with a minute's silence in memory of Mickey McGinley, father of club players Michael and Kieran, who was buried during the week.

Playing against the breeze St. Michael's went into an early lead with points from Andrew Kelly and Edward O'Reilly but points from Diarmaid McInerney, Nathan Boyle and Cian Rooney saw Aodh Ruadh lead at half time on a scoreline of St. Michael's 0-3 Aodh Rua 0-7.

St. Michael's started the second half strongly but they paid the price of two wides and a goal for Ballyshannon by Shane McGrath, after good work by Nathan Boyle, sealed the victory with the Erne men running out winners.

The match was marred by a skirmish near the end which was eventually brought under control by referee Martin Coll.

St. Michael's scorers: Edward O'Reilly 0-2, Andrew Kelly 0-1, Colin McFadden 0-1, Carlos O'Reilly 0-2.

Aodh Ruadh scorers: Nathan Boyle 0-5; Shane McGrath 1-1; Niall Murray, Diarmaid McInerney and Cian Rooney 0-1 each.
