It continues to be a good day for Donegal teams at the Comórtas Peil na Gaeltacht as Gleann Fhinne have been crowned Gaeltacht senior ladies champions.

They defeated the host club, Naomh Eanna, Leitir Móir in the final on a scoreline of 0-9 to 0-4.

Their win comes after Gaeil Fhánada won the junior title earlier in the day.

It was a very close opening half which ended with Gleann Fhinne a point to the good, 0-3 to 0-2, but they pulled away in the third quarter to win comfortably.
