The Sligo Leitrim / South Donegal count continues in the Clayton Hotel
While voters in south Donegal may often feel like they have little or no voice in the Sligo-Leitrim constituency, their votes are making a difference in General Election 2024.
A little over 4,000 people cast their vote in the south Donegal portion of the constituency, with Martin Kenny securing around 1,200 of those votes.
With the first count underway, here is the lay of the land from the tallies, with the Donegal votes in brackets.
