Robyn Cannon from Creeslough makes her way onto the pitch at Hampden Park with Celtic midfielder Arne Engels
A Creeslough schoolgirl had an Easter Sunday she’ll never forget at Hampden Park in Glasgow.
Eight-year-old Robyn Cannon - a first-class pupil at Scoil Mhuire - was an official mascot for Celtic in their Scottish Cup semi-final win over St Johnstone.

Robyn met and spoke with Celtic captain Callum McGregor and left-back Greg Taylor beforehand, both of whom took the time to wish her well. Then, Robyn walked out with the Celtic team before kick-off, accompanied by Belgium international Arne Engels, in front of a 58,600 crowd which included her parents Shaun and Lorna.

Robyn and her parents wish to thank all at Donegal Association of Celtic Supporters Clubs for making her dreams come true. Goals from McGregor, Adam Idah, Jota and a brace from Daizen Maeda sealed a 5-0 win, and Celtic will take on Aberdeen next month in the Scottish Cup final.
