Highlands Hotel will host The MacGill Summer School
The MacGill Summer School, in association with the University of Notre Dame, will take place in Glenties from July 17-19.
Several keynote speakers will be attending the events at the Highlands Hotel for the international forum for thought leaders to discuss the critical issues facing Ireland, Europe, and worldwide.
The MacGill Summer School has been ongoing for over forty years, since it was founded by Dr Joe Mulholland.

This year’s forum is entitled ‘A Fractured World,’ and will include contributions from Fianna Fáil’s Minister of State for European Affairs and Defence, Thomas Byrne, and Stormont’s Minister for the Economy, Dr Caoimhe Archibald MLA of Sinn Féin.
Other speakers include the party leaders of Labour and the SDLP, Ivana Bacik TD, and Claire Hanna MP, the Irish Attorney General, Rossa Fanning, former ministers or current TDs, Stephen Donnelly, Lucinda Creighton and Garry Gannon TD, the editor of the Irish Times, Ruadhán Mac Cormaic, former editor-in–chief of The Economist, Bill Emmott, and Professor Mary Gallagher of the University of Notre Dame.
