Kieron O'Donnell of Arranmore RNLI asked for awareness of safety
Malin Head Coast Guard requested assistance from the Arranmore Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) on three calls in just four days.
All three of the rescued people required assessment at Letterkenny University Hospital.
Kieran O’Donnell, the Coxswain of Arranmore RNLI, appealed for people to be aware of their safety when close to or near water.
The first two calls happened in the early hours of Friday, June 20, at 12.30am and then again at 2.10am. The third call was on the evening of June 23, after 9pm.
Patients were taken from Arranmore First Responders Ambulance to the lifeboat, and then on to Burtonpoint for a waiting ambulance to then go to Letterkenny University Hospital.

O’Donnell said: “As an emergency service on call every day of the year, we are always prepared to launch whatever the call.
“Summer is usually a busy time for the emergency services, and we would ask that people are aware of the safety messages from Water Safety Ireland, the Coast Guard, and the RNLI when on or near the water. Be seen, be safe, and enjoy the summer.”
