Artist impression of new Letterkenny apartments
Donegal County Council has granted conditional planning permission for the construction of 40 apartments in Letterkenny.
The apartments will be built in a single apartment block in Carnamuggagh Upper, located in the north of Letterkenny. Connection to public sewers, services, and all associated auxiliary site development works was included in the planning permission.

Lexus Properties Ltd applied for planning permission on September 18, 2024, and a decision was granted by Donegal County Council in early July 2025.
The planning permission was granted with 22 conditions, and it was decided that the applicant should contribute a fee of €80,988.44, in accordance with the Donegal County Council Development Contribution Scheme 2016-2021.
