St Catherine's Band at the 2025 Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann
The chairperson of St Catherine’s Band from Killybegs praised the group after winning repeat titles in this year’s Fleadh Cheoill na hÉireann.
St Catherine’s Band defended their over-18 Accordion Marching Bands titles, which they won in 2024, with both victories coming in Wexford.
Nuala Knox told Donegal Live: “It was absolutely fantastic. That is back-to-back titles, so all the hard work and months of practice have paid off.

“The atmosphere was unreal in Wexford, and the crowds were brilliant. They were so enthusiastic about the bands, and we got a great reception. We thought it was just fantastic, and there were great facilities on show.
“We will be going back to Belfast next year to go for three years in a row. We have the Rose of Tralee and the parades there this year.”
