Application submitted to convert Burtonport Welcome Centre to apartments

The former Burtonport Welcome Centre

A planning application has been submitted to Donegal County Council to convert the former Burtonport Welcome Centre into residential accommodation.

Dungloe-based Eighter Properties Ltd has submitted the application for a development that will consist of the conversion of the former commercial building into three domestic dwellings, along with associated site works, and connection to existing services.

The planned development would have two two-bedroom apartments and one one-bedroom apartment at the site on the R260 road. 

Donegal County Council has announced no decision due date as of yet.
