Planning sought for improved facilities at Donegal GAA Centre

New planning application submitted for Donegal GAA Centre facilities

Donegal GAA are aiming to continue the development of its GAA Centre in Convoy after applying to Donegal County Council for the implementation of new facilities at the site.

Planning permission is being sought for the erection of fencing, spectator rails, dugouts, a scoreboard, and all associated site works at Donegal GAA Centre.

The planned scoreboard is for the main pitch of the GAA Centre, and the planned dugouts and the majority of the spectator rails are planned for pitch three of the five-pitch facility. 

Donegal GAA had received conditional approval from Donegal County Council for floodlighting around pitches three and four in September 2025, and this current application represents the next stage of Donegal GAA Centre’s development. 

A decision due date for the application has been set by Donegal County Council for December 3.
