Donegal Town resident fined
A Donegal Town resident was convicted and fined by Judge Éiteáin Cunningham at Donegal District Court for failing to display a current vehicle disc licence.
Michael O’Shea, of 29 Mill Race Crescent, Donegal Town, was not present at the court hearing at Ballyshannon Courthouse.

Judge Cunningham fined O’Shea €350, plus costs of €138, with five months to pay.
The defendant was convicted of being the registered owner of a vehicle parked at No.4 Car Park, Donegal Town, on May 15, 2025 without a current road licence displayed in contravention of Section 5 (5) of the Road Act 1920, contrary to Section 73 (1) and Section 76 (as amended by Section 63 of the Finance Act 1993) of the Finance Act 1976 and thereby committing an offence under the Act.
