For the second weekend in a row, Saturday looks like the pick of the bunch in terms of weekend weather in the north west with the forecast suggesting countrywide temperatures ranging from 16 to 19 degrees, but locally 17 degrees will probably be as good as it gets, which, for September is good!
So expect sunny spells and light to moderate breezes.
By Sunday morning it’ll be wet, rain hitting the west coast by morning but as the day slips by it will dry up and temperatures should hit 16 degrees so good enough if you're planning a trip to the regatta in Burtonport on Sunday or a wee spin out before watching the All Ireland final.
All in all, not a bad weekend and Monday is expected to be dry with sunny spells.
