Road re-opens following two vehicle collision near Kinlough

A driver was removed to Sligo University Hospital this afternoon following a two vehicle collision near Kinlough.

A car, driven by a female and a lorry driven by a male, were involved in the collision at the Moy Road/Bundoran Road junction at 12.30pm today.

The woman was brought to hospital. It’s understood she sustained minor injuries in the collision.

The road was closed briefly as gardaí and emergency services went to the scene.

Local diversions were in place but a short time ago Gardaí at Ballyshannon confirmed that the road has been re-opened to all traffic.
