Sunday's weather in Donegal

A frosty start after a bitterly cold night

Sunday's weather in Donegal

Low overnight temperatures have left many roads dangerous, so caution on the roads is advised.

After a frosty start, the frost will clear this morning and the freezing fog will just slowly lift, to leave a bright, mainly dry day with some sunshine.

Met Eireann say there will be just be a few showers near the north and west coast, though the odd heavy one is likely. Highest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees in just mostly light or moderate northwest to north breezes.

It will be dry tonight, but very cold and again a widespread frost. Lowest temperatures of -3C to +2C in a light to moderate northerly breeze.
