Joe Brolly lends his support to special charity game in Killybegs

Joe Brolly set to play in charity match in Killybegs on Friday evening.

Killybegs GAA club in Killybegs is hosting a special fund-raising event this Friday evening at Eamonn Byrne Memorial Park, Fintra.
The event will centre around a special charity match which is planned between the Donegal Masters team and a 1990s South West All Star team.

TV gaelic games pundit and former Derry star Joe Brolly is set to play in the game and may well find himself being marked by an old foe, Killybegs 1992 star All ireland winning star, Barry McGowan.

The game will start at 7pm.

The main reason behind the fun night is to raise money for charity. The Killybegs club along with its main sponsor, Sea Quest Systems, have organised the event to raise money for the Seaman's Mission in memory of David 'Croc' Meehan, who passed away earlier this year.
The other beneficiaries from the evening include Joe Brolly's charity Opt for Life. The action gets under way at 7 p.m. and everyone is welcome.
