The All Ireland Fisherman’s Patrick McClenaghan Memorial Trophy Golf Classic was held on May 23 at Greencastle Golf Club.

The event was held to celebrate the legacy of Patrick McClenaghan, a long standing member of the club who died in 2021, “with a fantastic day of golf, camaraderie, and competition”.

Proceeds for the event, which was first held in 2022, went to The Irish Cancer Society, which currently funds over 120 cancer researchers across Ireland working to develop new and better treatments for many different types of cancer.
