The countdown is well and truly on for this year’s annual Moville Festival, with a packed programme of events and live music planned for the seaside town.
The popular summer festival takes place from July 10-13, and everyone is invited to join in the fun by the banks of the Foyle.
One of the organisers, Eamon McLaughlin, says the main emphasis is once again on family entertainment.
“We’re looking forward to a great weekend, and we’d encourage everybody to come out with their families, to enjoy the music, the events, the sports – and let’s make it a weekend to remember for all.”
Festival Sunday, July 13, coincides with Donegal’s All-Ireland semi-final against Meath, and Eamon is hoping “we’ll all be in a celebratory mood” by then.
“We want people to come out and enjoy what’s going on; to make memories for themselves and their families,” he said.
Festival PRO Eamon praised other members of the committee – including Declan Carey, Margaret Harkin and Martin McColgan – for all their efforts and hard work in organising the events.
