A junction in Burnfoot is experiencing flooding.

Donegal County Council warned on Tuesday morning that there is flooding at the junction between the Watery Road (L1841) and the R238 regional road at Burnfoot village.

The council says the junction is passable with care. 

The warning comes with heavy rain forecast throughout the day.

A status yellow wind warning for Ireland associated with Storm Chandra for very strong and gusty winds is in place until 11pm on Tuesday.
