Safer Internet Day took place last week and the theme this year was 'AI Aware: Safe, Smart, and in Control'.

Garda Anne McGreal and Garda Shaun Patton provided a presentation to the boys and girls at Scoil Naomh Bríd in Muff. They enjoyed engaging with the students and they were faced with some excellent questions.

"Thank you to all at the school for the invitation to visit," they said.

Safer Internet Day explores ways to empower children and young people with the critical thinking and digital literacy skills they need to evaluate content, recognise bias, protect their privacy, make responsible decisions and to be Safe, Smart and in Control.
