Families across Inishowen are invited to mark their calendars as BakeRona’s much-loved annual Easter Treasure Hunt returns on Saturday, 4th April, promising an afternoon of fun, adventure, and community spirit all in support of a vital local cause.

Running from 12PM to 2PM, the event will begin at BakeRona’s Bakery, with clues cleverly hidden throughout Moville Green, creating an exciting challenge for children and families alike. Participants will follow the trail in search of sweet surprises, with prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Entry is priced at just €3 per child or €10 per family, with funds raised on the day going towards Hughie’s Corner, Carndonagh, a community-funded counselling service that provides essential support to young people aged 5–18 across Donegal.

This year’s event builds on the success of last year’s Easter fundraiser, which raised vital funds for the stroke unit at Letterkenny University Hospital. Organisers are hoping for another strong turnout to continue supporting important local services.

For those unable to attend on the day, donation sheets are available throughout Moville at Timbers Coffee Co, Norries Coffee Shop, and The Cosy Cottage, offering another way for the community to contribute to this meaningful cause.

Following the treasure hunt, the excitement doesn’t end there on Easter Saturday as families can head to the Market Square, where Moville Celtic’s Ball Drop will take place, rounding off a day full of Easter fun.

Organisers encourage everyone to come along, take part, and help make a difference. Every donation goes towards supporting local young people who need it most.
