Power tools stolen after sheds targeted in Muff burglaries

Sheds were broken into two separate burglaries in rural areas at the weekend

Cash, cigarettes and alcohol stolen during Bridgend robbery

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to contact Buncrana Garda station

Gardaí are investigating two burglaries in the Muff area.
A burglary took place at Knowhead Road, Muff between 9pm on Friday, December 1 and 9am on Saturday, December 2. Entry was gained to a shed by forcing the locks but nothing was stolen.
In the second incident, a farm was targeted in a burglary that occurred at Lenamore, Muff on Saturday, December 2 between 7am and 7.30am.

Entry was gained to a farm shed after the locks were forced. Several power tools were stolen including a black/green Hilti SDS Max tango drill, a black/green Hitachi impact drill, a black/green Hitachi impact gun and a black/green Hilti cordless grinder.
Gardaí are appealing to anybody who may have observed suspicious activity or vehicles in that area between those times to come forward. Anyone who has dashcam footage that may be relevant is asked to make it available.
