Illies Community Centre have warned those who rammed their gates and took quads onto their pitch that footage has been handed over to Garda Síochána.
The centre released a statement on social media, where they called on the local community to assist as they would work to repair any damage.
"We are deeply disappointed to report that extensive damage has been done to our community centre," they posted. "The main gate was rammed open and quads were driven on the pitch, causing significant destruction to the facilities that we’ve worked so hard to build and maintain as a community.

"Thanks to the CCTV cameras installed at the entrance, around the building, and surrounding the pitches, we have clear footage of the individuals involved, including a headshot of one of the people driving a quad. This footage has been handed over to An Garda Síochána, who are now actively investigating the matter. Please contact Buncrana Garda Station on 074 93 20540 with any information.
"We ask for your support and vigilance as we work to repair the damage and ensure the safety and integrity of our community facilities. To those responsible, know that your actions have not gone unnoticed, and there are consequences for this senseless behavior. Let’s continue to stand together as a community to protect what we’ve built. Thank you for your ongoing support."
