Three food and drink companies from Donegal will be joining the Bord Bia Bloom festival.

Kinnegar Brewing from Letterkenny, Mia Mallows from Newtowncunningham, and Nomadic Foods from Killygordon will be representing the Donegal food scene at the Bord Bia Bloom festival, taking place in Phoenix Park Dublin, May 29 to June 2.

Kinnegar Brewing is an independent brewery producing an array of unfiltered, naturally carbonated beers in multiple styles.

Nomadic Foods has been producing yoghurt and oat cluster pots, and protein products for 27 years. This year they will be launching their new Nomadic Power Oats.

Mallow Mia hand makes soft marshmallows in a variety of flavours, as well as Belgian chocolate rocky road confectionery.

With over 100 of Ireland's top food and drink producers, attendees can visit the Food Village and Bloom Inn to enjoy delicious food from plenty of vendors.

Bloom’s four on-site restaurants; The Garden View. Restaurant, Bistro Bloom, Country Crest Restaurant and The Seafood Terrace provide even more options for visitors.

‘A taste of Bloom, Curated by Neven’ is new for this year, and gives a three-course dining experience celebrating quality Irish food designed by chef Neven Maguire.

The festival expects over 100,000 visitors to its 70-acre site, which will also host 21 new garden shows.

Visitors can take in the petite and perfect Postcard Gardens supported by Tirlan CountryLife, breathtaking plants in the Nursery Village and The Plant Emporium.

There will also be live demonstrations and interactive workshops such as floral crown making in the Botanical Hub, and exhibitions of Botanical and Floral Art and AOIFA’s Floral Art Competition.

For the younger visitors, there will be returning planting experiences for children and a range of fun, educational, and interactive workshops at the Budding Bloomers Children’s Area.
