A Letterkenny coffee shop formed part of a nationwide initiative supporting charity.
Brosef Coffee was one of seven coffee shops in Ireland to team up with Permanent TSB. The speciality coffee bar, which is located on 55 Port Road, is owned by James and Paddy Molloy from Glenties.
The others involved were The Secret Garden, Galway, Dublin’s Two Boys Brew, Mister Magpie Coffee, Cloud Picker Coffee, Fetch Coffee in Tipperrary and Guji Coffee Bar, Cork.

The PTSB Community Coffee Break took place in participating cafés between 8am and 10am, as well as in PTSB’s 98 branches nationwide between 10am and 12pm on Thursday, February 5.
All coffee served was sponsored by PTSB in aid of local and national charities, which have been shortlisted for public vote. This includes five charities from Dublin and surrounding counties, five from the North and West, and five from the South and East of Ireland.
The two charities that receive the highest number of votes in each region will become the official PTSB Community partners for 2026 - you can vote until February 22.
The charities involved in the North-West Region include The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, Cavan Autism Parents Support, ICARE, Louth Cerebral Palsy Group, and SOSAD Ireland.
