Electric scooter stolen from Market Square in Letterkenny

'We appeal to drivers and in particular to taxi drivers who park around that location to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny if they observed an electric scooter being used in the area,' a Garda spokesperson said

Electric scooter stolen from Market Square in Letterkenny

Gardaí are investigating the theft of a black electric scooter from the Market Square area of Letterkenny Town between 11.30pm on Monday, April 17, and 3am on Tuesday, April 18.

It had been parked at that location near the bank and it was secured with a lock. The lock was removed and the scooter was stolen.

"We appeal to drivers and in particular to taxi drivers who park around that location to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny if they observed an electric scooter being used in the area between those times or if they think that they may have captured the use of one in that area on their dash cam," a Garda spokesperson said. "If anybody has any relevant information in relation to this theft then we ask them to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100."
