The Swilly Inn jumper party takes place on Friday night, December 20

The annual Swilly Inn Christmas jumper party will be in aid of Greg Fitzgerald’s recovery.

Letterkenny native Greg, suffered a stroke in March and jumper party the committee have said they “would love to raise some funds for him and his family at this time. Raffle tickets can be purchased on iDonate Karaoke Christmas Jumper Party for Greg. There are a host of prizes on offer.

“Whatever you donate will go directly to them and for every €5 donated you will be entered into a draw. With every €20 you will receive 5 tickets. There are loads of great prizes to be won!”

The jumper party takes place on Friday night, December 20, at the Ballyraine-based pub in Letterkenny and will continue its ethos of charity donations down the years. Last year, over €6,500 was raised between donations on the night and online for the Sheephaven Sub Aqua Club and Donegal Mountain Rescue Team in memory of the late Kevin Boylan.

The event has been running since 2009 and will be hosted by Adam Moore with DJ Dano - Daniel McGarrigle - who will provide the entertainment, along with Adam’s sister Claire, Stephen McConnell, Louise Toner, Emmet Toner and Liz Crealey.
