Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage which occurred in Glencar Irish, last night, Monday, February 14.
Sergeant Paul Wallace said that a resident was woken from his sleep by the noise of a man kicking the rear of his Vauxhall Astra.
The incident occurred between 5am and 5.10am.
"There was somebody prowling around up there at 5am this morning intent on doing damage," Sergeant Wallace said.
