A section of theroad between Bruckless and Dunkineely
The road between Bruckless and Dunkineely has been described as highly dangerous and could potentially lead to someone getting killed while walking on it.
The danger was highlighted by the cathaoirleach of the Donegal Municipal District, Cllr Niamh Kennedy at their recent meeting.
She called for Active Travel work/funding for this road.
"I've never seen anything like it over the last while, particularly since we got new people into the area at Killaghtee. I've witnessed people with one foot on the road and the other on the ditch. It's a nightmare, we really need to something done here. We know the proposed bypass is going to take a very long time so in the interim and before someone is killed, we need to take a good look at this," she said.
