Donegal's oldest woman, 107-year-old Ruby Druce, was treated to a surprise musical session on St Patrick's Day.
Martin Mullan and Barney McDaid visited Ruby for a sing-song on Friday night.
The sprightly Castlefin woman, who now lives with her niece Margo Butler in Letterkenny, was in great spirits.
“She sang along and loved every minute of it,” Margo said. “Not bad for a 107-year-old to get two men to sing to her!”
Music has been firmly at the heart of Ruby's 2023 so far. On her birthday, New Year's Day, she received a phone call from Daniel O'Donnell and his wife, Majella.
Ruby is the fourth oldest person in Ireland.
She was born in 1915, the daughter of George Crawford and Elizabeth (née McBride), and has credited walking, hard work and a daily cod liver oil capsule for her amazing life.
Ruby, who has lived through the Spanish flu and Covid-19 pandemics, still enjoys her visits back to Castlefin and especially to McGlynn's Restaurant.
In December, Ruby – who is a pioneer all her life - performed the official switch-on of the Christmas lights in her home town.
