The Relic of St Peregrine

Fr Vincent Finnegan OFM will have the Relic of St Peregrine available for those who seek a blessing as he celebrates his final Mass in Ballyshannon.

The Franciscan Friar is based in Rossnowlagh but is on the move, having recently announced that he will be going to Stranorlar.

Since he acquired a relic of St Peregrine, the patron saint of people suffering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses, thousands of people have come to Rossnowlagh for blessing.

Fr Vincent celebrates his final Mass in the area in St Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon on Saturday at 6.15pm.

He said: “I will have the Relic of St Peregrine available at that Mass for those who would like a blessing. I am looking forward to seeing you then.”
