Arranmore RNLI responds to third emergency callout in recent days

The latest callout was to carry out a medical evacuation from the island

Just days after the Arranmore RNLI volunteer crew carried out a 26 hour mission in challenging weather conditions they were again called out to assist with a medical evacuation from the island.

The medical evacuation took place on Thursday evening at 7pm.

The third call out for the crew in recent days, lifeboat coxswain Seán O'Donnell said: "This was a quick call which we were pleased to respond to following our long service on Sunday.

"We are always ready to answer the call no matter what it is."

Crew on board were, coxswain Seán O’ Donnell, mechanic Philip Mc Cauley, Brian Proctor, Seamus Bonner, Sharon O’Donnell, Mickey Dubh Mc Hugh, Seán Sammy Gallagher.
