People in Pettigo urged to attend event about derelict and vacant properties

An information event on funding and support relating to the development of derelict and vacant properties is taking place in Pettigo.

The event takes place in the Termon Centre in Pettigo this Thursday, November 7 from 3pm to 6pm.

Cllr Michael McMahon (SF) is encouraging people in the area to go along.

“I am urging people to go as there are quite a lot of vacant and derelict buildings in the Pettigo area and this is an opportunity to meet with council officials who will be there from 3 pm to 6pm.

“It is very important that people get to know what the council can and can’t do, what money is available and how they go about it.

“This has been a very successful campaign in Donegal. Quite a lot of people are taking up the opportunity.”
