Donegal County Council, in association with a number of community partners, have arranged for the opening of a number of community-based emergency hubs across the county to address the needs of the most vulnerable in our communities who remain without electricity and water in the aftermath of Storm Amy.
"These hubs/centres will provide basic essential services to members of their communities who are in need of same," a council spokesperson said. "To date, the response from community groups across the county has been remarkable. We have eight centres who have responded in a positive way to this request and have made their facilities available."
A full list of community support centres and their opening times for this evening (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday) has been confirmed across Donegal.
