A happy couple who created a truly magical wedding ceremony in a forest took an even more unusual step - their ring bearer was the beautiful donkey Quiney, well known to supporters of Donegal Donkey Sanctuary.
A spokesperson for Donegal Donkey Sanctuary took to Facebook to say: "So our beautiful Quiney had the honour of being a very special guest at a magical forest wedding last Friday.
"Supporters John and Fiona requested a very special ring bearer and it has to be said that Quiney performed his duties admirably! Though he did disgrace himself slightly by attempting to eat one of the bouquets!
